A projectile launched by Yemen’s Houthi group struck a school in Saudi Arabia’s southern city of Najran yesterday, causing material damage, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a Civil Defence spokesman.
The spokesman said that emergency teams responded after a “hostile projectile” launched by the Houthis fell in the area, according to the news agency.
He said the projectile hit a school in Najran, causing material damage.
Standard procedures for such incidents had been carried out, he added.
Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis.
