BATELCO by Beyon and technology giant Ericsson have announced a major network expansion agreement on the sidelines of the Gateway Gulf 2026 forum to modernise mobile broadband infrastructure across the kingdom.
Announced in the presence of Beyon Group chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the project combines Ericsson’s Radio Access Network (RAN) and cloud-native core network technologies to boost network coverage, speed and capacity while paving the way for future 6G readiness .
