MANAMA: Authorities yesterday denied social media reports that traffic fines would double if violators inquire about them through the e-government portal.
General director of traffic Colonel Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa assured the public that they could inquire and pay their fines through the portal, while those interested in receiving SMSs should register with the portal.
