Manama: His Majesty yesterday issued a decree restructuring the Interior Ministry.
He also issued another decree appointing the following officers: Lieutenant General Khalifa Ahmed Al Khalifa (Deputy Inspector General with the rank of director general), Lt Gen Abdulla Mohammed Al Zayed (Public Security deputy chief with rank of director general), Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Khalifa (Public Security assistant chief), Brig Mohammed Bin Dina (media and security culture director), Brig Waheed Jumaa Al Duwei (escorts director general), Brig Jabr Sultan Ahmed Al Suweidi (Royal Court Guard director general), Brig Hamad Ali Al Merri (Southern Police director general) and Brig Abdulsalam Youssef Al Oraifi (reform and rehabilitation director general).
Under a third decree, Ibrahim Mohammed Ali Abul and Taha Mahmoud Mohammed Faqihi have been appointed, respectively, as assistant undersecretary for resources and information and assistant undersecretary for financial affairs at the Finance Ministry.
The King has also issued a fourth decree appointing Abdulla Ahmed Abdulla Ahmadi and Mohammed Abdulrahim Ahmed Bucheeri as assistant under-secretaries at the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry.
