Kuwait City: A fisherman in Kuwait got a shock of his life when he discovered that his fishing nets contained drugs instead of fish.
According to Arabic language daily Al Anba, the Indian fisherman who was on his usual morning duty off the Kuwaiti coast, when the incident happened.
He immediately phoned his Kuwaiti employee who asked him to report it to the police.
According the paper, the police said they found 50 kgs of hashish in a bag that was apparently dumped in the sea for local dealers to be picked up later.
The paper also added, “A police source said some drug smugglers are now using GPS to locate the drugs and he believes the bag was there to be picked by dealers with the help of GPS.”
