Riyadh: The police seized 20,000 counterfeit electrical appliances which were stored in a warehouse at Al-Batha’a district in Riyadh.
Security officials raided the location and confiscated the fake products which bear the logo of a famous trademark after they replaced the name of the country of origin, reported Arabic daily Okaz.
The confiscated haul includes chargers, over 4000 fake Apple smartphone headsets, 300 car rechargers (USB), and thousands of other counterfeit items.
Police also seized over 6000 empty boxes that were meant to be used to market fake products bearing the trademarks of Apple, Samsung and LG, in addition to 40,000 stickers, warranties and logos of "Apple" trademark.
