The Indian School (ISB) was named the winner of the ISB APJ Inter-Junior School Science Quest 2019.
Students Harshin Sijesh and Devasree Susanthkumar walked away with the trophy; while the first runner-up position was bagged by New Millennium School students Chris Ivan and Pavithra Krishna.
The second runner-up position was shared by The New Indian School represented by Shawnita Jose Anand and Geevarghese Shijo Koomulliyil and ISB’s Meenakshi Deepak and Shashankit Rupesh Iyer.
Organised at the school’s Riffa campus, the event was attended by chief guest Indian Embassy Attache (culture) Mohini Bhatia, title sponsor Mothercare concept manager Sunil Gopal, ISB chairman Prince S Natarajan, secretary Saji Antony, Riffa campus Principal Pamela Xavier and other officials.
The quiz was hosted by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo business development manager – corporate business, Sarath Menon. Semifinalists and finalists received gift vouchers and Mr Natarajan congratulated the participants.
