A major defence conference opened in Manama with experts discussing the main features of military technology and reviewing strategies of countries.
The Middle East Military Technology Conference (MEMTEC) is being held on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The first day featured a panel discussion on Global Military Technology Outlook.
Speakers were GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, US NAVCENT commander Vice Admiral James Malloy and Bell H-1 Programmes and Fire Vice-President and Programme director Scott McGowan.
Bahrain Institute for Strategic Studies (Derasat) chairman Shaikh Abdulla him Ahmed Al Khalifa presented the keynote address.
Present was National Security Adviser Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
