India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 board examination results today.
The overall pass rate has been recorded at 85.20 per cent, representing a 3.19 per cent decline from the previous year. More than 1.7 million students sat the examination worldwide.
CBSE had cancelled examinations for students in Bahrain and other Gulf countries as a precaution for student well-being during Iranian aggression in the region. The education board announced an alternative assessment policy for Class 12 students in affected countries.
