AN updated list of approved manpower agencies has been released by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
The list of recruitment offices highlights a total of 109 approved agencies, including employment offices for housemaids and expatriate labourers.
The list also highlights 80 offices in the Capital Governorate, representing 77.6 per cent of the total figure, followed by eight offices each in the Northern and Muharraq governorates and seven in the Southern Governorate.
The GDN previously reported that LMRA chief executive Ausamah Al Absi revealed that more than 100 recruitment agencies have had their licences revoked in the last four years for various violations.
