The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 50-year-old expatriate man from Covid-19 today.
This takes today's tally to two and the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 329.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 237 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 352 recoveries and no fatalities.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 237 new cases, 80 were expatriate workers, 147 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related.
It said an additional 352 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 80,526.
Of the 2,169 active cases, 55 were receiving treatment and 20 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 83,023 cases and has conducted 1,814,090 tests.
