Kuwait City: An unidentified woman has been admitted to the admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at a hospital in Kuwait after she allegedly tried to commit suicide by slitting her wrists with a blade.
The woman, who is believed to be in her teens, is at the Jahra Hospital, Al-Rai daily reported.
The incident was reported to the Interior Ministry and when police and paramedics rushed to the spot, they discovered that the victim had been rushed to the hospital by the father.
The woman will be interrogated when her condition improves, it reported.
Meanwhile, her father revealed that she attempted to end her life because of differences between him and his daughter.
