AS per my knowledge, warehouses are banned in residential areas due to the potential risks to residents and the general public.
However, in Riffa Hajiyat, opposite the new mosque on Road 3953 in Block 939, a construction company has set up a storage depot that has turned into a breeding ground for rats, cats, dogs and various insects.
In light of the current pandemic, residents are worried that the place can become a source of diseases.
Besides, the constant movement of equipment is disturbing and irritating.
Last year, the residents raised a complaint (No 2029494396) with the Isa Town Municipality but to date no action has been taken.
The illegal shade is attached to the wall of the adjacent building without the permission of the building owner. Authorities need to ask the violators to pay for the damages caused to the building and clean up the area.
