His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the growth of equestrian sport in Bahrain as the late Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Arabian Purebred Horse Show opened at the Military Sports Association ground in Al Raffa.
Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) is organising the annual event under the patronage of Shaikh Nasser.
Shaikh Nasser, who is also Breef honorary president, praised owners and stables for taking part with their best horses in this Ramadan competition.
He thanked Breef chairman Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and the organising committee for their efforts to ensure the success of the championship.
Organising committee chairman Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan and Shaikh Nasser’s office director Tawfiq Al Salehi honoured the winners.
