New guidelines for visiting patients at Bahrain’s largest public hospital have been announced. The regulations will take effect at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) from the fourth day of Eid Al Fitr.
The new regulations apply to visitors past two weeks of their second Covid-19 dose and those who have recovered from the virus.
Visitors will be required to show evidence to be allowed access to the hospital on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 5pm to 7pm.
No unvaccinated visitors will be allowed entry to the hospital during the visiting timings.
