Kuwait has recorded the highest temperature ever on Earth yesterday in the Northern city of Al Jasra at 53.5 degrees celcius.
Kuwait has also now been deemed the hottest place on Earth in 2021, while neighbouring countries Iraq and Iran recorded temperatures of 51.6 degrees and 51.0 degrees (in the Southern city of Omidiyed) respectively.
In June Kuwait experienced a heat wave which recorded temperatures of 50 degrees.
Norwegian weather monitor Time and Date stated that Kuwait City and Doha were the hottest capitals in the world.
