The Shura Council and Parliament have praised the success of Saudi Arabia in organising this year’s Haj and ensuring pilgrims’ safety in light of Covid-19.
The Shura congratulated Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
It lauded the outstanding organisation and preparations as well as services delivered to pilgrims.
The Shura also commended pilgrims for their responsibility and adherence to precautionary measures.
Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal sent congratulatory cables to King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman. She sent similar cables to the Saudi Shura Council chairman Shaikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Shaikh and Saudi Ambassador Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
