Al Hala defeated Bahrain Club 77-60 in a third-week game of the Zain Bahrain Basketball League at the Zain Arena in Um Al Hassam tonight.
Sayed Kadhem Majed top scored for the winners with 23 points, six rebounds and one assist.
Amir Williams also excelled for Hala with 21 points, 23 rebounds and one assist.
Ibrahima Thomas scored 18 points and Ali Ashgar contributed 12 for Bahrain Club.
Hala have now sealed two wins from three games so far. They won the opening game of the season against Samaheej 78-68 before going down 74-69 to Manama.
In another game, Muharraq outplayed Sitra 116-68.
Mahmood Abbas Isa was the top scorer for Muharraq with 19 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Other major scorers for the winners were Salman Alkaabi (16), Sayed Mohammed Hameed (15) and Bader Abdulla (14).
Isa Abdulameer was the top scorer for Sitra with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists. Mohammed Abdulla (12) and Husain Safar (11) were the only other scorers to reach double figures.
Muharraq, who routed Al Ettihad 102-63 and moved past Al Najma 88-79 in the previous games, recorded their third consecutive victory of the season last night.
Al Najma face Isa Town in the last game of the week at 7pm tonight at the Zain Arena.
