MANAMA: BNET, the national telecommunications infrastructure company, has appointed Shaima Al Hamed as chief commercial officer (CCO).
She brings with her extensive knowledge as a results-oriented leader with a record of applying business transformation, restructuring and growth strategies with more than 17 years of experience in the field of ICT and media-technologies management.
Ms Al Hamed holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde with a focus on strategy building and implementation, and a BSc in computer science from Bahrain University. She also carries certifications in the fields of leadership, management and technology.
BNET chief executive Ahmed Aldoseri said: “Shaima Al Hamed’s appointment comes in line with our strategy to attract qualified and expert national talent, which additionally supports BNET’s plan to empower highly qualified Bahraini women in leadership positions.”
