A viral video captured the moment a car rammed into a woman motorcyclist in an alleged road-rage incident in the Indian city of Gurugram on Sunday morning.
The victim, identified as Sia, was thrown from her sports bike onto the tarmac and sustained injuries from the impact.
Posting the footage on social media, Sia said she was riding alongside members of her biking group when a car approached them. She alleged that the occupants appeared drunk and tried to force her to stop. After asking them to keep their distance, the driver attempted an aggressive overtake, side-swiping her bike before speeding away.

A friend riding with the group chased the vehicle and managed to record the car's licence plate.
Sandeep Turan, public relations officer for Gurugram Police, said officers are verifying the exact crash location using the video footage to assign the case to the appropriate police station. He added that authorities are reaching out to the victim to obtain a formal written complaint and register a First Information Report (FIR) to arrest the driver.
