A MAN has been arrested for allegedly sheltering Bahraini teenager Shahad Al Ghallaf, said the Interior Ministry.
The 31-year-old has been held for “helping her flee from home and sheltering her”, said the ministry on its Twitter account, quoting the Southern Police Directorate.
Police earlier today (Jan 18) said the girl had been found – with two citizens handing her over at the Budiaya police station.
Shahad was reported missing to the police after disappearing from outside her home on Friday morning.
She had been helping her mother place picnic items in the family car near Block 806, Cairo Road, Isa Town, when she suddenly disappeared at around 6am.
Her mother Manal, 40, walked inside the house to grab more supplies for the trip to a chalet in Zallaq and when she stepped back outside her only child was missing.
