An Egyptian flight attendant working for Saudi airline flynas has been identified as one of the 12 people killed in Saturday's attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Azza Ramzi Mohamed Hassan, 28, sustained severe injuries inside the terminal during the strike before succumbing to her injuries, according to Egyptian media reports.
The Egyptian Consulate in Riyadh is coordinating with local authorities to arrange for her burial and logistics, the reports added.
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation confirmed that the attack resulted in 12 fatalities and 309 injuries, marking the deadliest strike on the kingdom in over a decade.
Four of those killed were Saudi nationals, while the remaining eight were foreign nationals, including two Bangladeshis and one citizen each from the US, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Sudan.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on the airport and a Saudi aircraft in an official statement, describing it as a flagrant violation of international law and reaffirming Cairo's solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
