The upcoming iteration of the Bahrain Jazz Fest will be supported and co-organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).
BTEA chief executive Nasser Qaedi signed a strategic partnership with organisers Clockwork to support and promote the festival, being held on December 2 under the theme ‘Jazz Unmasked’.
BTEA chief executive Nasser Qaedi pointed out that organising this festival fits into the authority’s desire to host yearly events to attract tourists, citizens and residents.
He added that the festival is part of a series of events organised by BTEA during this season in co-operation with the private sector.
The event is set to feature Grammy-nominated artists, award-winning acts, educational programmes and a month-long series of events that celebrate the confluence of communities and jazz music, according to co-organiser and Clockwork managing director Jude D’Souza.
As a result of the strategic partnership, festival packages, including flights, hotel accommodation, festival tickets, tours and more, will be offered to international visitors.
Established in 2017, the Bahrain Jazz Fest has grown to become one of the most awaited music festivals in Bahrain’s event calendar. The festival has attracted more than 20,000 visitors since its inception and hosted more than 100 jazz musicians from Bahrain and around the world.
