Saudi has announced that more than one million people have registered with its National Volunteer Portal to help with the kingdom's National Day celebrations.
With the aim to promote voluntary work opportunities, the portal offers opportunities listed by organisations in various sectors, including chances to help with National Day activities and initiatives.
“The opportunities that were presented on the occasion of the National Day cover various fields of community service and related sectors, in accordance with the controls that were set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the General Administration of Voluntary Work in the ministry,” the ministry's general director Mashael Al-Mubarak told Arab News.
