A new Cabinet has been appointed, with three new ministers.
His Majesty King Hamad yesterday approved the formation of the new Cabinet after reappointing His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to lead it.
The King accepted the Cabinet’s resignation earlier in the day after general elections were held on November 12.

He later reappointed HRH Prince Salman as prime minister and asked him to form a new Cabinet.
His Majesty then received, at Sakhir Palace, His Royal Highness Prince Salman, in the presence of the King’s personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, National Security Adviser Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The King thanked him for his dedicated efforts to serve Bahrain, support the Government Action Plan and follow up on mega projects.
Earlier, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister chaired the last session of the outgoing Cabinet during which he thanked His Majesty for the trust he bestowed upon the government to serve the kingdom and its citizens.
In the new Cabinet, Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma has been named Education Minister, replacing Dr Majid Al Nuaimi. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro is new Industry and Commerce Minister, replacing Zayed Alzayani, while Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi replaces Ayman Almoayyed as Youth Affairs Minister.
The King later received a cable of thanks from HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During his meeting with HRH Prince Salman, His Majesty praised Bahraini women’s participation in the polls as voters and candidates, underlining the election of eight women as MPs, and three as municipal councillors.
The King also thanked all ministries and other relevant authorities, praising their contributions to the success of the elections, which were marked by transparency and integrity.
He praised the outcome and successful hosting of the Manama Dialogue, reiterating the commitment of Bahrain, the beacon of peace, to the principles of peace, neighbourliness and coexistence.
The King affirmed Bahrain’s unwavering support to all efforts aimed at consolidating regional and global security, stability and peace.
