MUMTALAKAT, Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, has appointed Noora Jamsheer as chief executive officer of Synergy Shared Services Company.
Synergy, a Mumtalakat portfolio company, was established to streamline operations and provide consolidated corporate support services across the group’s assets.
Ms Jamsheer transitions to Synergy from the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (Danat), where she served as CEO since 2019.
She brings extensive international leadership experience across financial services, commodities, and development sectors, having previously held senior roles at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, the Dubai Diamond Exchange, and the United Nations Security Council Group of Experts.
A Babson College graduate holding a BSc in finance, investments, and economics, Ms Jamsheer expressed pride in taking on the new role.
“I am honoured to join Synergy and lead the company as it delivers high-quality, value-driven services across Mumtalakat’s portfolio,” she said. “I look forward to working closely with our stakeholders to drive operational excellence, strengthen capabilities, and create long-term value.”
The establishment of Synergy aligns with Mumtalakat’s active ownership strategy to bolster portfolio performance, drive efficiency, and enhance governance frameworks by enabling individual companies to focus on core operations.
