Non-profit organisation INJAZ Bahrain, which is also a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA), has won two prestigious awards at the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX).
The event, which was hosted for the first time in the kingdom and held at Exhibition World Bahrain, was inaugurated by the Education Minister and Higher Education Council chairman Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a.
The exhibition provided an opportunity for more than 200 local and international universities, colleges and institutes to exhibit, interact, recruit and connect with more than 30,000 students, parents, officials, and other academic representatives.
During the GHEDEX Awards for Excellence in Higher Education ceremony, which was held on the sidelines of the expo, INJAZ Bahrain received two coveted awards, the Entrepreneur Development Award and the Students Businesses Award, in recognition of its exceptional efforts in empowering Bahraini youth to become successful entrepreneurs.
Additionally, INJAZ Bahrain’s company programme team ‘Pytronics’ from Al Jaberya Secondary Boys School was awarded the ‘Leadership Development Award’.
“We are honoured to be recognised for our team efforts and the positive impact we drive across the kingdom’s educational landscape,” said INJAZ Bahrain chairperson Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa. “These awards are a testament to our commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among Bahrain’s youth. At INJAZ Bahrain, we believe in the power of young people to transform their communities and drive economic growth. We are grateful for the recognition and will continue to empower and inspire Bahraini youth to reach their full potential.”
