Twelve tenders worth BD11,458666 were awarded last month for projects undertaken by the Works Ministry.
Four road projects have been awarded under contracts worth BD4, 434, 984.
These include the development of the Shaikh Isa bin Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa Avenue, and the revamping of roads in Qalali and Isa Town.
Six sanitary drainage projects worth BD6,845, 231 have also been awarded.
The Tender Board has also invited bids for 11 other projects estimated at more than BD37 million, said Under-Secretary Shaikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
