His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has expressed his pride at efforts exerted by the brave Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) personnel.
He praised their sincere determination, round-the-clock combat readiness and distinguished skills to carry out their sacred duty of defending the nation as he visited the RBAF.
The King was welcomed by Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
His Majesty, who was accompanied by National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, was also welcomed by BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, RBAF Commander Air Vice Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and senior officers.
The RBAF Commander briefed the King on the continuous provisions of the latest integrated military system to the RBAF.
A number of RBAF aircraft conducted a fly-past to welcome His Majesty.
The King congratulated all RBAF affiliates on receiving ‘F-16 Block 70’ fighter jets, which are among the latest and most effective military aircraft.
