Bahrain Ship Repair and Engineering Company (BASREC) has appointed Narjis Almoosawi as secretary of the company’s board of directors, making her the first Bahraini woman to hold this position in the company’s history.
Board of directors chairman Fawzi Kanoo said: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Narjis Almoosawi to this important position, becoming the first woman to hold this position throughout the company’s history, which has exceeded 60 years .
