A new era of adventure has arrived in the kingdom following the launch of the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ by Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo (EKK), sole distributor of Toyota vehicles in Bahrain.
Guided by Toyota’s global ‘TO YOU’ concept, the highly-anticipated vehicle injects a fresh energy into the legendary Land Cruiser bloodline – one of the most popular models on the kingdom’s roads – specifically engineered to deliver the marque’s iconic reliability, durability and all-terrain capabilities to a wider demographic of local motorists.
Developed under the core philosophy of ‘Freedom & Joy’, the Land Cruiser FJ carries forward the iconic heritage of its predecessors in a considerably more compact and agile form, seamlessly combining effortless everyday city manoeuvrability with the ultimate independence to explore demanding landscapes.
Toyota marketing senior manager Ayman Shehadeh said: “Ebrahim K Kanoo is pleased to introduce the Land Cruiser FJ to customers in the kingdom. With its distinctive design and practical versatility, it brings the capability and confidence associated with the Land Cruiser name to a wider range of journeys and lifestyles.”
“From everyday driving to weekend adventures, the FJ gives drivers the freedom to enjoy it in their own way, which is exactly the spirit of our launch campaign, ‘As You Like!’ It is one FJ with many ways to enjoy it: its personalisation options allow customers to make it their own, while its Land Cruiser capability provides confidence wherever the journey leads.”
The model will be available in the kingdom in two distinct grades: Mid and High.
This tailored structure is intended to give Bahraini customers the flexibility to select a specific specification suited to their individual aesthetic preferences and intended daily use, whilst retaining the fundamental build quality shared across the range.
The practical five-seat cabin successfully balances excellent all-round driver visibility and intuitive controls with a highly functional layout.
It features 795 litres of dedicated luggage space, alongside 6:4 split-folding rear seats that can be easily adjusted to accommodate different loading requirements.
The squared interior design and horizontal instrument panel further emphasise the vehicle’s utilitarian character.
Depending on the chosen grade and specific Bahrain market customisation, available features include an advanced 12.3-inch display audio system, the comprehensive Toyota Safety Sense suite, a Panoramic View Monitor, and a Blind Spot Monitor. The price starts at BD15,730.
