Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani opened yesterday Bahrain’s embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“The opening of the Bahraini embassy in Kuala Lumpur is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad during his historic visit to Malaysia in 2017. It is also the outcome of more than five decades of fraternal relations between the two countries,” he said.
“The embassy will serve as a permanent bridge to strengthen political dialogue, enhance bilateral co-operation in trade, investment and education, support the business communities, facilitate consular services and bring the two peoples closer together,” he noted.
“The opening of the embassy carries particular significance as it coincides with Malaysia’s hosting of the 22nd edition of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 in Malaysia,” he added.
