More than 40 female Bahraini employees of Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) were taken on a tour of various prominent landmarks in a vintage bus.
The journey, to mark Bahraini Women's Day, started with a visit to the Athar monument in Manama and culminated at Suq Al Baraha. They also stopped over at Saada for breakfast, during which they were joined by YKA managing director Mona Almoayyed, chief executive Alok Gupta and group human resources and total quality management manager Sonu Duggal.
Ms Almoayyed expressed her gratitude to the women for their contributions and efforts towards the company, resulting in the company being recognised as one of the most successful organisations in Bahrain over the past 80 years.
