Bahrain's commitment to connectivity is evident in the fact that everyone uses the internet, which is made possible by ultra-high-speed broadband services.
The recently published report assesses "Universal and Meaningful Connectivity" (UMC) using nine parameters divided into two pillars: Universal connectivity pillar and Meaningful connectivity pillar.
Bahrain's outstanding result, scoring 96.5 out of 100 in the 2023 IDI, represents a major leap forward in digital growth.
The country's top-ten global ranking is a significant improvement from its 31st position in the previous report (published in 2017). It demonstrates Bahrain’s commitment to creating a competitive business environment while also assuring consumer affordability.
