MORE than 150 workers gathered at an under-construction site in Busaiteen as part of the Indian Ladies Association’s (ILA) inaugural campaign to keep labourers hydrated.
During the ‘Water Drive’ initiative, each worker received a tray which included five assorted fruits, fruit juice and water.
It aimed to highlight the importance of staying safe, hydrated and healthy during the scorching summer months.
Present at the event were president Kiran Mangle and general secretary Sarmistha Dey, alongside other ILA members and officials.
