Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Yasser Humaidan has highlighted the importance of continued investment in the energy sector, in line with the national plans for energy efficiency and renewable energy, which aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
The minister was speaking as he met Seena Dashti, co-founder and managing director of Tarsheed Energy, a company specialising in energy services and consultancy.
Mr Humaidan underscored the role of public-private partnerships to achieve the goals of this vital sector.
The minister reviewed the services provided by Tarsheed Energy, including energy management efficiency and the installation of renewable energy systems on building rooftops. He commended the company’s consulting activities and technical solutions which provide effective means of utilising renewable energy sources.
