Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, has successfully passed a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) audit, allowing it to expand its maintenance operations.
The audit, conducted every two years, ensures the airline’s aircraft, engines, and components meet the highest safety standards. Gulf Air can now maintain its Airbus A320 and Boeing 787 fleets, including engines and related parts.
The certification also enables the airline to offer maintenance services to other regional and European carriers operating through Bahrain International Airport, solidifying its position as a leading aviation hub.
EASA officials praised Gulf Air for its consistent performance in the audit process since 2005, highlighting its commitment to safety and quality.
