Expatriates in Saudi Arabia sent back a record SAR 12.91 billion to their home countries in July 2024. This is the highest level of remittances recorded in the last two years.
This marks a 21.47% increase, amounting to SAR 2.28 billion, compared to the same month in 2023.
According to a report published by the Saudi Central Bank, this is the highest level of remittances recorded since September 2022.
