A SCHEME to support home projects and productive families in Bahrain has been launched by a local charity society.
Better Life Charity Society will provide financial aid to small home projects and innovative ideas that can be implemented with the aim of providing a fixed and sustainable income for the beneficiaries.
Board members also agreed to increase seasonal aid, which includes the Ramadan basket, Eid clothing and school bags and school clothes to the families of beneficiaries as well as general support to students in university education.
The decision was taken during the society’s board meeting chaired by MP Ahmed Al Salloom in the presence of honorary president Farouk Almoayyed.
Mr Al Salloom pointed out that free remedial lessons for 400 male and female school students in basic subjects at various educational levels are also being supported.
