The government extended a hand of goodwill to all members of the National Assembly last night.
Parliament and Shura Council Affairs Minister Ghanim Al Buainain praised the efforts and progress made by legislators during the second session of the sixth legislative term, stressing the government’s keenness to continue working in the spirit of one team to preserve the gains of the nation and its citizens and bolster its accomplishments.
“The government will continue to exert efforts and create conditions to achieve everything that would put the country on the global map and bring its people more prosperity,” said Mr Al Buainain.
“The contents of the King’s opening speech serves as a blueprint for our work in the next stage,” he added.
“His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has reiterated his call to implement directives aimed at achieving development through fruitful and constructive co-operation between the executive and legislative authorities.
“We have worked with Parliament and have made huge accomplishments and more are on the way,” he said.
