The latest developments in nursing and the importance of integrating modern technology to improve the quality and precision of care will be among the key topics set to be discussed at a first-of-its-kind conference to be held later this year.
Critical, Emergency Care and Advanced Nursing Conference, organised by Government Hospitals and BDA Conferences and Exhibitions, will take place at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain on November 20 and 21.
Government Hospitals chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma said in a statement that the conference aims to advance the performance and capabilities of healthcare professionals, including doctors, technicians, nurses and other hospital staff in Bahrain.
“It is also designed to elevate the level of professional competence in the areas of critical and emergency care, while promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience among experts and specialists in the field,” she added.
“Through a comprehensive programme of lectures and hands-on workshops delivered by a distinguished group of international experts, the event will contribute to improving the quality of health, medical and therapeutic services provided, and strengthen Bahrain’s presence in this field at both the regional and international levels.”
Meanwhile, Government Hospitals centres of excellence nursing services chief and conference chairperson Hanadi Aish highlighted that the event would be the first-of-its-kind to take place, focusing on the latest developments in the field of advanced nursing and its critical role in enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery.
“It will cover a wide array of vital topics, including high-efficiency management of critical cases, the latest protocols in cardiopulmonary resuscitation aimed at improving patient outcomes and specialised nursing care in various medical disciplines.”
The conference will also shed light on the importance of integrating modern technology to improve the quality and precision of nursing care.
BDA Conferences and Exhibitions chief executive Dr Ahmed Shahda expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with Government Hospitals in organising the conference, and emphasised that the event presented a valuable opportunity for collaboration and knowledge-sharing between physicians and specialists from across the globe.
