A HIGH-LEVEL meeting between the Industry and Commerce Ministry and the Bahrain Chamber underscores a push to strengthen the public-private partnership, a move seen as vital for the kingdom’s economic diversification.
The Joint Economic Committee, co-chaired by Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro and Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass, met to discuss improving Bahrain’s business environment and attracting further investment.
Mr Fakhro emphasised that a strong public-private partnership is essential for a diversified and competitive national economy. He highlighted the private sector’s crucial role in shaping economic policy and attracting investment.
Mr Nass stressed that close coordination between the chamber and the ministry is vital to ensure accurate data for informed decision-making.
The meeting agenda included reviewing action items and following up on decisions from the previous session. The chamber continues to reinforce its partnership with government entities to simplify processes, promote efficiency, and foster transparency, reflecting Bahrain’s vision for a forward-looking digital economy.
