MOTORSPORT – BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC) hosts the opening round of the 2025 Aramco Formula Four Saudi Arabian Championship this weekend.
The series, part of the FIA-sanctioned single-seater entry-level championships, is promoted by Altawkilat Motorsport under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, and will run until December, featuring rounds at both BIC and Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Fourteen drivers are competing in Sakhir in Tatuus Abarth F4 G2 (T421) cars, standardised and approved by the FIA. Designed to meet the latest international safety and performance standards, these cars ensure a level-playing field that allows pure talent and technical ability to take centre stage.
The Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is a pathway for emerging Saudi talent aspiring to build a future in motorsport. Young drivers, engineers, and technicians gain access to comprehensive development programmes that include media training and communication skills, enabling them to sharpen their capabilities both on and off the track.
The series serves as the first professional step toward a racing career, as many of today’s Formula One drivers began their journeys in F4.
The championship calendar features five rounds in total. BIC will also stage the second round on October 15 and 16, before the action moves to Jeddah, the world’s fastest street circuit, for the third round on November 10 and 11.
The fourth round will take place on November 14 and 15, leading to an exciting finale on December 5 and 6, once again in Jeddah.
