GOLF – BADER Al Dosari won the club stableford competition held over the weekend at Awali Golf Club.
Al Dosari secured first place with 42 points, which included a tremendous front nine of only one-over-par off his 12 handicap. He continued for what was his best round at Awali Golf Club to card 76 gross.
Raghav Talwar was the runner-up with 41 points, while in third was Awali Golf Club tournament director Rashed Al Qutami with 39 points.
Yousif Ali Al Binkhalil took fourth place with 38 points, while in fifth with 37 points was Mohammed Ali Al Kowari, who holed only two bogeys while carding one birdie and the rest pars.
Zuzar Madarwala finished sixth with 36 points, beating seventh-placer Julie McLean on countback.
Following play, the prize-giving ceremony took place. The awards were handed out by Awali Golf Club captain Steve Newall and Al Qutami.
