HIS Majesty King Hamad has expressed pride in Bahrain’s long-standing relations with Oman.
These ties are continuing to develop through mutual commitment to enhancing co-operation, the King said yesterday during a meeting with Oman’s Interior Minister Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi at Safriya Palace.
The Omani minister is visiting the kingdom at the invitation of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The King underscored the importance of such visits in promoting co-ordination and joint action at all levels, particularly in the security field.
His Majesty also commended Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s role in deepening relations as well as driving Oman’s ongoing progress and development.
The meeting reviewed recent regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
