Bahrain has successfully established an advanced youth system, under the vision of His Majesty King Hamad and the solid foundations and forward-looking approach set by him, which created an ideal environment for youth and enabled them to turn challenges into opportunities and achievements.
Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi made the statement as she participated in the main panel discussion at the Misk Global Forum 2025 held in Saudi Arabia on empowering youth to create their own stories, solutions and initiatives.
She reviewed key milestones in her career and shared experiences that have shaped her leadership vision and practical expertise.
She said the national approach has been further strengthened under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has made investing in youth a central pillar of the government’s agenda, alongside the efforts of the King’s representative of for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which have contributed to a significant advancement in youth empowerment and enhancing their active role across various domains.
The minister spoke about the rapid development of the youth system in Bahrain, noting that the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 provides a strategic framework focusing on investing in the youth’s potential and providing opportunities. She highlighted that national efforts have established an approach based on innovation, capacity-building, and enabling youth to lead future initiatives.
