MORE than 400 students have benefited from an educational scholarship trust established in 2013 to honour the legacy of the late Amir HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, according to a top minister.
The Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust celebrated the latest batch of these scholarship students during an annual ceremony held at the Isa Cultural Centre in Manama yesterday.
The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of Prime Minister’s Court Minister and trust board of trustees chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

“Upholding the values of knowledge and giving is a firmly rooted approach in shaping Bahrain’s future, sustaining its progress and shaping future generations.”

“Under the leadership of Shaikh Isa, the trust has served more than 400 students in Bahrain since its inception in 2013.
“In recent years, it has gradually benefited an increasing number of scholarship students and given them opportunities to go to university and complete either their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Many have also gone abroad and brought pride to the kingdom.”
The trust provides scholarships for Bahraini students, especially those who cannot afford higher education, to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at both local and international universities.
