His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received newly appointed Ambassadors of Germany and Sri Lanka at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman received German Ambassador Henning Georg Simon and commended the strength of bilateral relations between Bahrain and Germany.
He outlined the importance of strengthening ties further and noted efforts to deepen joint co-operation in order to pursue opportunities that bolster ties.
During the meeting, a review of current regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in support of shared aspirations.
The Ambassador concluded by wishing Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister separately received Sri Lankan Ambassador Shereen Shanika Dissanayake.
He highlighted the strength of the bilateral relations between Bahrain and Sri Lanka, noting the growth of ties between both nations.
HRH Prince Salman outlined the importance of continuing to develop bilateral co-operation and co-ordination to achieve common goals and aspirations.

Ambassador Dissanayake expressed her gratitude for the meeting with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador also conveyed her appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his commitment to furthering Bahrain-Sri Lanka relations.
She concluded by wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki attended both the meetings.
