Two members of Kuwait's national boxing team, a man and a woman, were arrested after having an altercation that led to a boxing match of their own on board a Kuwait Airways flight.
Investigations revealed that the duo initially started exchanging insults during the flight. Matters escalated when the woman slapped the man, who responded by kicking and punching her.
The two were accused of threatening the safety of the aircraft. However, both were acquitted after their lawyer argued that the incident was nothing more than a personal altercation, which didn't affect the flight or their safety.
