BOWLING – Zakeya Al Memari from the UAE was crowned champion of the inaugural Bahraini Women’s Day Bowling Tournament 2025, organised by the Bahrain Bowling Federation (BBF) at Funland Centre and held under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Women.
Al Memari claimed the title ahead of Saudi Arabia’s Sedrah Rafiq, who was the runner-up. Kuwait’s Wasmiyah Al Abdullah came third, while Emirati Fatheya Al Memari was ranked fourth overall.
A closing ceremony was held at the end of the competition, attended by Bahrain Table Tennis Association president Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, BBF president Saleh Al Bufalah, and members of the BBF board.
The tournament attracted elite players from Bahrain and a number of Gulf and Arab countries.
